11 CTA ''park and ride' lots to accept cash/credit

October 21, 2009 (CHICAGO) The parking lot next to the Yellow Line stop in Skokie is one of the 11 'park and ride' locations where credit card machines will be installed.

The lots are managed by Central Parking System.

The CTA's new contract with the company guarantees the transit agency at least $1 million a year for the next five years.

Parking rates are $4 at the lots except at Rosemont and Forest Park where it costs $5 to park.
