The mayor thanked them for demonstrating what he calls the highest level of public service.
The recipients represent Chicago Public Schools, the Chicago Park District, City Colleges of Chicago, and the CTA.
The awards are named after the late Kathy Osterman who served as alderman and executive director of the mayor's office of special events.
