Half-Time Tribute to Walter Payton

Sunday November 1st is the exact day of the 10 year of Walter Payton's passing. The Payton Family will be part of a halftime tribute to Walter. Brittney and Jarrett have been selected to be Captains of the 4th Phase. The Payton Family, Coca-Cola and the Chicago Bears are giving away a Payton calendar to the first 40,000 fans. The spectacular pictures have been hand-picked by the Payton's, along with quotes throughout the calendar. We want to remind the fans that it is Walter Payton Day and ask them to wear #34 Jersey or a Payton headband. Just help us remember "Sweetness"!

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 6 - Walk In The Shoes Of A Legend
Held at Bull & Bear in Chicago from 7pm - 9pm
Hosted by the Payton Family, drinks and appetizers to toast "Sweetness".
$20 donation at the door goes directly to WCPF.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 8, 2009 - WCPF Soldier Field Toy Drive
Sunday November 8th is the Annual Soldier Field Toy Drive benefiting the Walter and Connie Payton Foundation. Anyone attending the Bears game on November 8th is encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to WCPF.
The Payton Family and volunteers will be stationed at most entrances of Soldier Field with Toy Drop Boxes for fans to drop toys in on there way into the Stadium, or to drop a monetary donation in the donation boxes.WCPF will be distributing all toys collected to in-need children who have found themselves apart of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) this upcoming Holiday Season.Anyone who will not be attending the game but would like to make a donation, or donate a new toy, can log onto the WCPF website at: www.Payton34.com
