Graduate instructors walked off their jobs on Monday when the waiver was not in the new contract.
Instructors are voting on the deal this evening.
UofI strike ends with agreement
November 17, 2009 (CHICAGO) The three-year agreement will guarantee the continuation of tuition waivers. They allow some graduate and teaching assistants to attend the school at reduced cost or - in some cases - no cost at all.
