Report: City could lose another trade show

November 18, 2009 (CHICAGO) The restaurant show has been a major presence here for half a century. Last year it gave an $86 million boost to the local economy.

A spokesperson for the association told ABC7 he hasn't heard any discussion about moving the show. But he does say exhibitors are concerned about high costs here.

In the past week, two other major shows said they will go elsewhere in 2012-- because of high costs in Chicago.
