Fewer trains run on South Shore rail

A revised schedule and higher weekend fares are now in effect for riders on the South Shore line.The weekend discount has been eliminated, so regular fares will be charged every day.

The revised schedule starts Monday and means fewer trains will be going all the way to South Bend.

The first train leaving Indiana for Chicago now comes into Millennium Station at Randolph Street at 7 a.m. The last outbound train will leave Millennium Station at 12:45 a.m.
