Amped up workout could help prevent stroke

November 24, 2009 A new study shows older men who regularly jog, swim or do other moderate to high intensity exercise have a lower risk of stroke, but lighter exercise such as walking did not show a similar benefit.

Researchers add that the intensity of the exercise was more important than the amount of calories being burnt.
