Online shopping expected to increase during holidays

November 25, 2009 An internet researcher says it expects online spending to increase by 3 percent over last year.

The firm says that's based on a positive start to the holiday spending season.

It says many consumers are shopping online instead of at stores so they can compare prices and search for the best deals.
