Man charged in fatal Thanksgiving crash

November 29, 09 (CHICAGO) Anthony Morales, 31, was arrested after his car slammed into Elias Nunez early Thursday morning in the 6600-block of Cicero Avenue.

The 21-year-old victim was driving a Chrysler with a broken gas gauge and ran out of gas. He was pushing the vehicle when he was struck.

Nunez died just hours before he was due at his family's house for the holiday.
