Ingredients:
1 cup powered sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 teaspoons maraschino cherry liquid
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
4 drops red food coloring
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
1/2 cup white chocolate cips, chopped
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine powdered sugar,butter,cherry liquid, almond extract and food coloring; blend well. Add flour and salt; mix well. Stir in cherries and white chocolate chips. Roll into 1" balls and place 2" apart on baking sheet. Bake foe 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden brown. If desired, melted white chocolate may be drizzled across the top of each cookie.
