Recipe: Mint Layer Brownies

Bottom Layer:
Cream one-half cup butter and 1 cup sugar. Add 4 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, ½ tsp. baking powder, 1 can Hershey's Syrup, 1 cup and 1 TBSP flour. Bake in ungreased 9 by 13 pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Cream Filling: 2 sticks butter, 1 box confectioners sugar, 1 tsp mint flavoring, green food coloring. Only use 2/3 of this.

Top Layer: Melt 6 TBSP butter and 1 cup chocolate chips. (microwave in a glass container about 1 minute 20 seconds. Cool and then spread.

These bars are best refrigerated and cold.
