For a fundraising fee of $15, visitors got to pick a butterfly and set it free inside the museum's lush, climate controlled Butterfly Haven.

Visitors also received adoption certificates.

The Butterfly Haven also proved to be a winter cure for cabin fever among the humans Sunday.
