Grammy-winning musician Wyclef Jean, who is from Haiti, just returned to the U.S. a few days ago and appeared on Wednesday's Oprah Winfrey show.He talked about his experiences with Oprah. Wyclef Jean and his family members helped pile the dead. They also pulled out a 14-year-old girl who was trapped under the rubble of her home. The girl's sister did not survive the quake.

Wyclef Jean has described Haiti as looking like an apocalypse.

"The best way I can explain it is for you to walk into a city and the entire city feels like walking into a morgue. For every two blocks, there's 15 or 16 bodies on the floor, no plastic on them, three of them are children, people running through the city with their babies in their hands while the baby's dead," the musician said.

Recently, there had been questions about Wyclef Jean's Yele Foundation to help people in Haiti. But he told Oprah Wednesday that he has never taken payment from the foundation for himself.

A rebroadcast of the Oprah Winfrey Show will air Wednesday night at 11:05 on ABC7 Chicago.
