Chicago area battles bitter cold

The cold really hits you when you walk outside. Temperatures Friday were only expected to reach the mid-teens. Out in Aurora, a bank sign read 6 degrees, and steam is rising from the Fox River.

For people working outside, it's not easy. But one man actually found a bit of relief working in a refrigerated truck. The driver said while the temperature outside his truck was 8 degrees, the temperature inside was 40.

While we're seeing bitter cold, downstate Illinois was getting hit with heavy snow.
