Whether you're backing the Saints or the Colts, getting too emotionally invested in the Super Bowl isn't a great idea.

Cardiologists warn that fans who get too excited can run the risk of a heart attack. They add the risk is real.

Studies have shown that when a favorite team loses, fans can suffer so much stress they can suffer a fatal heart attack.

Cardiologists say eating too much and drinking too much can add to the stress. Combine that with anger-- that can help trigger a heart attack.

So, on the advice of doctors, don't get too excited. After all, it's just a game.
