Two men injured when a car crashed through the window of a Loop fast food restaurant have won their lawsuit.

The crash happened in 2005 at the Gold Coast Dogs in the Loop.

Timothy Kelleher was eating a sandwich when he was struck by a car driven by Sheldon Aberman.

Kelleher suffered a fractured ankle and required surgery. A jury awarded him $393,000. David Duggan was struck before the car crashed into the restaurant. He was awarded almost $24,000.

The driver says the accident was an act of God. He says he fainted just before the crash.
