Police: Woman stashed $26K in her bra

Police in Washington state say they nabbed a woman with a 'treasure chest' who used her undergarment in a forgery scheme.Investigators say they believe a team of suspects traveled across the state and used fake IDs to illegally get money from banks.

They were arrested after a teller reported a suspicious request for a large cash withdrawal.

When Lukeisha Harris was in the jail's booking area, the corrections staff made a lucrative discovery in her bra: $26,000 in bills, to be exact.

"I understand that this is a large suspect. She was described by bank tellers as heavy-set. The police report indicated that she was 6 ft. and 400 lbs.," said Sgt. Dave Reagan of the Spokane Sheriff Dept.

Harris apparently was an organized individual. Also inside the bra, officers say she stashed bank receipts to keep track of the cash.
