Retired officer may lose benefits after DUI incident

A retired Indiana police officer is in jeopardy of losing his retirement benefits for allegedly letting a drunk driver go free.

Dashboard cameras show Pendleton, Indiana Officer Tom Moore giving a field sobriety test to what appears to be an impaired driver back on November 21. Instead of making an arrest, the officer turned off the camera, and lets him go. Officer Moore retired just weeks after the incident.

The discovery of the video tape now has prosecutors calling for Moore to be blocked from receiving his full retirement benefits.
