The O'Hare expansion project may be getting a $400 million boost from the federal government.

Crain's Chicago Business reports that U.S. transportation secretary Ray LaHood, Mayor Daley, Governor Pat Quinn snd Senator Dick Durban will be in Chicago Tuesday for an announcement about federal funding for the airport. That announcement is expected at 11 a.m.

There is no word whether the money will be for completion of phase one, which includes new and relocated runways or the new runway at the southern end of O'Hare.
