UofC prof appointed to Obama's bioethics team

A professor at the University of Chicago has been appointed to a presidential commission to study bioethics.

Daniel Sulmasy is a doctor, ethicist and a Franciscan Friar.

The commission will advise the president on ethical issues involving medicine, science and technology. The goal is to make sure that activities in all these areas are conducted ethically.
