Attorney Joel Brodsky won Reyes's right to take his 3-year-old daughter to Catholic mass during her visitations with him.
An injunction by Reyes's estranged wife originally forbade him from exposing the girl to any religion other than Judaism.
After taking the girl to mass he was charged with contempt, but last week the injunction was lifted. The motion to dismiss the contempt charge will be heard on Monday April 26.
