It was a 19th birthday party for Jacqueline Loyola and she now faces murder charges.
Police say that Kassandra Caceres was a guest at the party in Carpentersville but may have brought an uninvited group with her. A fight ensued. Caceres was stabbed to death and a 16-year old-girl is recovering from stab wounds.
Loyola, the birthday girl, is held on $1 million bond.
