A new Rasmussen poll gives Kirk an 8-point lead over Democrat Alexi Giannoulias, with Kirk up 46 to 38 -- an increase of four points in one month.
Giannoulias was at a different "Walk with Israel" event on Chicago's North Side Sunday.
The poll was taken before Giannoulias got the public support of President Obama. So, it is not clear what effect that may have had.
