Small plane lands at bus station; no injuries

May 3, 2010 (FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill.) No injuries were reported in the Cessna plane's landing late Sunday in one of the bus lanes at the Metrolink station in Fairview Heights.

St. Louis' KTVI reports that a call went out over police radios that an aircraft was missing five miles east of the St. Louis Downtown Airport in nearby Cahokia. The plane then landed on the Metrolink parking lot.

The pilot was the only occupant of the single-engine plane, which is registered to an aviation company out of Jefferson, Ohio.

It isn't clear where the plane was going.
