Waukegan native Jon Michael Hill received a nomination for Featured Actor in a Play for his role in Superior Donuts. The Tracy Letts' drama premiered in Chicago at Steppenwolf in 2008 before heading to New York City. Hill plays a teenager who is the only employee of a donut shop in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood.
Hill graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
