After Peterson's arrest, J.P. Morgan Chase froze a line of credit he had on his home. But according to the Chicago Tribune, Peterson's lawyer said he has no debt and has paid his legal fees.
Still, Peterson needs $45,000 to hire expert witnesses for his murder trial, which is scheduled to begin in June.
