The shooting happened late Sunday night at a home in University Park.
Police say Joshua Funches was found shot in the abdomen. He later died from his injury.
Investigators say the suspect, Charles Clements, was found at his home near the scene, and that they found the gun used in the crime.
Clements is charged with second degree murder.
Police are trying to determine a motive.
