Reputed mob hit man passes away

May 15, 2010 (CHICAGO) Harry Aleman died Saturday afternoon at the Hill Correctional Center in Galesburg.

Aleman was serving time for the 1972 murder of a union official. Aleman had been sentenced to a serve a term of at least 100 years.

An Illinois Department of Corrections spokesperson said Aleman had been ill, and there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
