The sequel Sex and the City 2 hits theaters soon and it's expected to be another blockbuster. Miranda, Carrie, Samantha and Charlotte-- who are dressed by fashion designer Patricia Field-- are heading for exotic Abu Dhabi. Once again, SATC fans will be taking fashion cues from the stylish New York ladies.
"Middle Eastern-inspired styles, prints, patterns, and fabrics will be a huge trend this summer," explains Lauren Cavallo Runzel, owner of Evanston-based GAVIN Boutique and ShopGavin.com.
"We're investing in a lot of jewelry from Morocco, kaftans and long dresses, and gorgeous scarves. After women see this movie, we have no doubt our shoppers will be looking for color, patterns and prints, and a lot of embellished dresses."
