Burris speaks at Chicago anti-violence march

May 22, 2010 (CHICAGO RIDGE, Ill.) The march was part of the Roseland Ceasefire project's annual open house at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, an event that included various city and community leaders, such as U.S. Sen. Roland Burris, the keynote speaker.

Burris also praised the efforts of groups like Ceasefire. The senator says he is advocating a summer-jobs-for-youth bill as a way to reduce the threat of youth violence.
