Look out, Dancing With the Stars; more than 140 student couples from Chicago public schools are showing some fancy footwork of their own.The fifth graders from 15 schools were demonstrating their waltz, cha cha and paso doble dance moves during the "Having a Ball" dance competition. The semi-finals were held Saturday at Little Village High School, and the finalists were set to compete Sunday in the grand ballroom at Navy Pier.
Nearly 1,000 students participated in the 20-week program.
