Olivia Raymond goes to Ellis Middle School in Elgin.
The girl says she found the sunglasses on her notebook and planned to take them to the lost and found. But the bell rang so she went to her next class instead.
She was later arrested.
Raymond's family says the Kane County state's attorney's office stopped the case. The girl was also suspended from school, but her family says the school has erased that suspension from her record.
