Barrington teacher accused of sex abuse, placed on leave

Nicole Jacobsen, 39, of Barrington, is charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse involving a 14-year-old boy.

Jacobsen is an 8th grade teacher at West Oak Middle School near Mundelein. She's accused of molesting the student in a classroom earlier this month.

Jacobsen has been placed on leave.
