Boy, 12, critically hurt in hit-and-run

May 25, 2010 (CHICAGO) He was crossing the street in the 8000-block of South May about 5:30 p.m. Sunday when he was hit.

The boy sustained multiple injuries, including brain damage, from the incident.

The driver did not stop, continuing southbound on May. The vehicle involved is described as a white or off-white two-door Cadillac Eldorado with a convertible top.

The driver is described as a black man between the ages of 20 and 26. Police say he is commonly known by the alias of "KB."
