Officials in Aurora are helping senior citizens to identify door-to-door scam artists.

They held a fashion show to illustrate to seniors what the real uniforms look like for local police, government workers, utility workers and delivery workers from the Post Office, FedEx and UPS.

Authorities say some criminals prey on seniors by wearing similar -- but fake ? uniforms and some even carry badges.

Wednesday, Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan will help seniors in Aurora understand new credit card rules and explain ways to avoid counterfeit check scams.
