Hundreds of demonstrators protested Israel's raid on an aid flotilla by marching in front of Chicago's Israeli Consulate Tuesday.

Nine people died in the attack against a Turkish humanitarian relief ship headed to the Palestinian Gaza Strip.

Israel says it was acting in self-defense, and on Thursday began deporting nearly 700 foreign detainees it took into custody during the raid. Among those is Chicago attorney Fatima Mohammadi. Her family says she's OK, and could be back in the U.S. in the next few days.
