People visiting Chicago for conventions may get a real break on the cost of getting around town.

The CTA is hoping to sell unlimited-ride passes to all conventioneers.

The CTA board has approved a one-year pilot program to test the idea. The so-called C-pass would cost $3 a day.

The board will evaluate the pass after one year.
