Former WH social sec. gets new job in Chicago

Former White House social secretary Desiree Rogers has a new job.Rogers has been hired by Chicago-based Johnson Publishing to work as a corporate strategy consultant.

She left her post in the Obama administration earlier this year after a security controversy at a White House State Dinner.

Johnson Publishing is the world's largest African-American owned and operated publishing company. Its holdings include Ebony and Jet magazines.
