There was a hazardous materials scare at a Chicago criminal courts building Tuesday morning on the city's West Side.

The fire department responded just before noon after getting reports that there was a gasoline smell in the air at 3150 W. Flournoy.

Firefighters believe it may have been gasoline in the sewer system.

The building was given the all-clear.

There were no injuries.

Court was canceled for the day.
