Chicago police say they have arrested 18 people in a drug sting called Operation Soul'd Out on the city's West Side.

Officers went undercover for four months to close two open-air drug markets in the area of 16th and Homan.

Area residents call it a small victory for a community with a large drug problem.

"It's a big catch... drugs have destroyed the moral fabric of the society," said Ald. Sharon Dixon, 24th Ward.

Police say they are still looking for one suspect wanted on a warrant for criminal drug conspiracy.
