For the past 15 years, the workshops have tried to help immigrants prepare for the citizenship exam, understand and complete the proper documentation, and ultimately, become naturalized U.S. citizens.
Citizenship program recognizes 50,000th attendee
June 19, 2010 (CHICAGO) Congressman Luis Gutierrez recognized the 50,000th person to attend one of the citizenship workshops held by the 4th Congressional District Citizenship and Naturalization Project.
