A suburban resale store that helps homeless and abused women and children has a new temporary home.

The Wings store in Palatine was destroyed by a fire that broke out during last Friday's storms. The store raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for women and children each year from donated merchandise.

A temporary warehouse will open Saturday at 345 Eric Drive in Palatine. Donations can be dropped off there beginning Saturday, June 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wings hopes to have a new store open in about two weeks. For more information visit www.wingsprogram.com
