Stars perform at "Crossroads" in Bridgeview

June 26, 2010 (BRIDGEVIEW)

They performed at the Crossroads Guitar Festival at Toyota Park in Bridgeview.

Music legend Eric Clapton took the stage Saturday night with his old friend Steve Winwood.

Clapton is the main organizer of the fundraising event. The festival raises money for the Crossroads Centre in Antigua, a facility that Clapton founded in 1998. The Crossroads Centre treats alcohol and drug addiction.

The star-studded line-up included names like John Mayer and Sheryl Crowe, as well as icons like B.B. King and Chicago's blues king Buddy Guy.

This was the third crossroads festival and the second to be held at Toyota Park. It was scheduled to end at 11 o'clock Saturday night.
