Police say 52-year old Hani Hennein critically wounded his wife before killing himself. Police found his body inside the couple's Elmhurst home early Friday morning.
Julia Hennein, 52, was taken to Loyola Hospital in Maywood where she underwent surgery.
The shooting came barely a month after she had filed for divorce and an order of protection against her husband of 30 years.
