Gun owners sue Chicago over ordinance

Four gun owners are suing Chicago, saying the city's new limits placed on gun ownership prevent them from exercising their right to keep and carry firearms for self-defense and other lawful purposes. Last week, the city council passed a new gun ordinance after the Supreme Court ruled against the city's previous gun ban.

The new measure allows adults in Chicago to purchase one gun per month and have just one unlocked gun inside a home.

The plaintiffs want the court to declare the new ordinance null and void.
