White Sox Experience Camp

July 21, 2010 (PRESS RELEASE) The 2010 White Sox Experience Camp gives every kid an opportunity to fulfill their dream of playing on a Major League field the same way the pros do. At the Experience Camp, each athlete will receive professional instruction from Sox Academy instructors on hitting, outfield, infield, pitching and base running on the home turf of the Chicago White Sox - U.S. Cellular Field.

This once in a lifetime opportunity gives each ball player the chance to field groundballs like Gordon Beckham, fly balls like Carlos Quentin, warm-up in the bullpen like Mark Buerhle and take batting practice in the batting tunnels just like 2010 All-star Paul Konerko. You will also see areas of the ballpark most fans never see. The event is open to boys and girls ages seven to fourteen. The cost of the camp is only $195.00 per participant and will run from 4:00pm-6:30pm at the Home of the 2005 World Series Champions.

The Chicago Bulls/Sox Training Academy opened in 2001 and runs extensive training programs for boys and girls from beginner to professional. There are additional satellite White Sox Academies in Glen Ellyn, LaGrange, Tinley Park and Northwest Indiana.
