City lobbyist in Washington decides to retire

One of Chicago Mayor Richard Daley's longest-serving advisors is retiring as Chicago's top lobbyist in Washington, D.C.Frank Kruesi is the former president of the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA).

He also served as assistant secretary of policy at the Department of Transportation during the Clinton administration.

A spokesperson for Mayor Daley tells ABC7 Chicago that Kruesi is leaving at the end of the month.
