It happened July 2 at a home in the 3100-block of West Washington.
Police say Lisa Baywood doused 61-year-old Allan Penny with gasoline, then set him on fire. Investigators say she was angry that he refused to give her money.
Prosecutors initially charged Baywood with attempted murder, aggravated arson, heinous battery and aggravated domestic battery.
There's no word whether charges have been upgraded now that Penny has died.
