Teens protest lack of summer jobs

A group of teenagers wants Governor Pat Quinn sign legislation that it says would provide summer jobs.

Members of the Life Campaign staged a protest at the Thompson Center. They want the governor to sign the Community Youth Employment Act.

They say the bill would help give jobs to 14- and 15- year olds, who have been eliminated from this year's summer jobs program. Governor Quinn's office says it's working with the Life Campaign to find a resolution.
