The event has really undergone a major upgrade over the past two years, featuring not some, but pretty much all of the city's top chefs, mixologists and pastry chefs.
Taste of the Nation will be held at the Aragon ballroom in Uptown August 12. Three of this year's participants visited the ABC7 Chicago studio.
One of the guests was Chef Michael Sheerin of Blackbird. Because mixologists also have a big role in the event, Debbi Peek visited from the Bristol in Bucktown. Thirdly, Elissa Narow has helped assemble the pastry chefs; there's going to be a dessert lounge, too.
